Our family of four enjoyed wandering the beautiful gardens one afternoon. We particularly enjoyed the Prime Ministers lane. The gardens are well maintained. It was a very hot day when we visited, so we stopped for an icecream at the Tram Icecreamy nearby and watched...More

We went on a Sunday and not only had the pleasure of experiencing the gardens and cool breezes from the adjacent lake, but their Summer Sunday offered the hundreds of spectators present (with their fold up chairs and ‘refreshments’), live entertainment and opportunities to purchase...More

Very pretty gardens. The walk down the lane with former prime ministers was amazing and thought provoking. Full of history. Little cafe opposite with beautiful lake and birds. Great for families

It is not a large garden so it will not take long to wander around. There are some lovely italian marble statues in the gardens and in the statue house. The modern conservatory sticks out a bit considering the attractive Victoria and Edwardian structures in...More

The Prime Min sisters' walk is a highlight, as was the cotton tree in bloom when we were there. The hot house is worth a visit too, with its wonderful plants and colours.
