We were not sure what to expect but found it interesting a pity you couldn't go upstairs but could see from downstairs, the dragon was so long and extremely colourful

Took my 7yo daughter along because she had been studying chinese new year and the dancing dragons and lions. She loved the Sun Loong display! I loved the jade carriage and the beautifully decorated furniture.

This place is a must when in Bendigo. I could spend a whole day getting transported back in history. So informative and engaging.

We went here instead of the Art Gallery and it was reasonably boring. The restaurant had no eftpos and there wasn't much on the menu. Would not go again.

Dear Megan, Sorry you were disappointed. I would like to clarify the EFTPOS statement. There is a machine, and it is located in the gift shop. The tearooms and gift shop are next each other.

Such a great visit. I thought $12 was a bit high for an entry price. But where will they get their funding from? So we walked to the entry and met Adrian. What a great guy. He started with the Story of Loong, The Dragon...More

Very affordable way to spend an hour or two. Very sad to see the way the Chinese were treated but was really nice to see the beautifully coloured traditional items and the 2 dragons. That would be a sight to see if the middle of...More

This is the second time we have visited the Museum. The special exhibition on the Chinese who fought in WWI for Australia was very interesting. The display of Dragons is very colourful & like the other artifacts.

The world’s longest imperial dragon, Sun Loong, is undoubtedly the highlight of the museum. Sun Loong is approximately 140 metres long (although his actual length is a secret) and his appearance is the finale of the Bendigo Easter Procession. The museum houses a wide array...More

John Wade 29 has nailed the various prices. It’s actually cheap considering the quality of the attraction. Make sure you pay the fee for the local guide as the experience is so much richer.

You will need to contact the Central Deborah Mine for their price list, as it is not an attraction we manage or own.
