I think places like this need to stay in existence to remind us of the sacrifice others have made for the freedom we enjoy today. For the very small admittance fee of $3 there was a lot to see in about 3 different areas. We visited the day after ANZAC day and the memorial out front was covered in flowers... More

As a pacifist I anm intrigued by the ingenuity mankind creates with weapons of war. This museum has a great range of displays that show mans ingenuity used in a way I don't like but may be necessary. It is mind boggling to see how it is produced for the task at hand.

This building is impressive and sombre, it is a must as you walk down the main street of town. A great place to stop and read and reflect - a stunning building

Lucky enough to be there for Anzac day, the service very well done, then the march with diggers, bands playing all the old songs, young groups of scouts, girl guides, navy, army forces.

Heaps of interesting stuff to see, but dismally presented in a crumbling building. "Visitor Reception" was there, but cursory: the old guys were more interested in chatting to each other than visitors. Desperately in need of professional help and a make-over.

Centrally located this is a great way to spend an hour or so. For the price of $3 you get to support the local RSL and see a great exhibition plus the bonus of showing some respect for those that have served their country in the bravest of ways. We had a lovely gentleman take us on our own private... More

The Bendigo Military museum is right in the center of the city. Inside are lots of exhibits, uniforms, military medals and weapons from The Boar War, WW1,WW2 and Vietnam. There is also one room with books containing letters from soldiers to their loved ones back home.

Very interesting with a excellent collection of uniforms, photos and artefacts from various wars affecting the Australian Services. Very moving personal histories of individual servicemen. Entrance fee $3 and definitely worth it.

Bendigo is a small town city with a rich history and I realised it when I visited the Bendigo RSL military museum. The building itself speaks a lot about the history of the place, build in 1923 the monument stands alive. The museum has preserved the history of Bendigo and Australia during WWI and WWII. It also has artifacts from... More

Bendigo RSL Military Museum is a beautiful old building rrom outside. We didn't go inside to the museum but we did stand outside and admire the lovely architechture of this building, and that in itself was very impressive!
