We went on a one hour cruise on the Canberra. It was a lovely day and we enjoyed chugging down the river. However we would have enjoyed more of a commentary telling about the history of the river and what it was like in the old days. We were pleased we didn't book to on the 2 hour cruise!

We travelled on the PS Canberra. This was by far the best experience we had in Echuca. What an amazing Paddlesteamer. Not the biggest of them but by far the most interesting. If you're looking for anecdotal and amusing travel along the Murray PS Canberra is the one to be on. Our captain Beth was awesome. She answered all questions... More

We spent an hour with Beth and the crew, cruising the Murray river. We had the best time, having cruised before we thought Beth's commentary bought the river alive for us, we laughed, cried and above all had a great time.

We had 2 trips on the PS Canberra the first on we went upstream and the commentary from our Skipper Beth was both interesting and amusing. The next day we had book to go the The emilylou but she had technical issues so we were offered another ride on PS Canberra and The Skipper Beth very kindly went down stream... More

We pre-booked a cruise along the Murray on the PS Canberra for Sunday afternoon. Great day out and highly recommend for those looking for a relaxing trip. We opted for the hour cruise as we have two young boys and thought the attention span might not last for the two hour option. The boat was exactly as expected and commentary... More

We came down on the Emmylou and went back on the Canberra from our lunch at Morrison's. The boats were both good fun but lunch forgettable. Not sure if you can normally do it the way our large group of friends did as this was all organised by a local.

Lovely 1/2 hour cruise each way to Morrisons Winery. Lunch with set menu was very good and the venue is great. Well worth the $75.

There are more impressive looking riverboats than the P.S. Canberra but it still offers a nice little hour long cruise along the scenic Murray River. We attended over the Christmas break when there were large crowds so seating was quite squashy but the trip was enjoyable enough, the captain kept us entertained with stories & information, and children had the... We boarded The PS Canberra Foran hour long tour. It was fun, very informative. The staff were a delight, they had a running commentary as he tour progressed. They even let you steer the Canberra.
