We were there on a weekend and it was busy with locals exercising along the quality walking path by the river. There were several food... More

Twice a month and some Friday evenings in summer the Farmers market is held. Food and drinks are available have breakfast when you get there! Lots of fresh vegetables flowers plants, chutneys, jams, olive oils and beautiful artisan bread. Then there is the entertainment by a local artist or band. Plenty of parking.

Had a few hours to spend 'down by the river' and really enjoyed it. Great to see so many young families spend so much activity time there. Shippy's for coffee and lunch.
