What an impressive house to visit, such a great history to be learned. It is apparent they are refurbishing the rooms as funds become available. With a couple of rooms fully furnished you can easily imagine how times were. Great piece of Australian history.

This reminds me of the Alice Springs Telegraph Station. Absolutely beautiful. This gives you an idea of how they lived in the late 1800s. This is on the Chaffey Trail which is well worth the time to do it. It took me about 1/2 a...More

Visiting the buildings and sites on the "Chaffey Trail" is a must to understand the history of the Mildura area. The Chaffey house museum and surrounds helps to unlock the stories of the districts early years

If you're passing it's worth 30 or so minutes to stroll around and see the old buildings and wares, which are well preserved. But as a must see it's not.

A good chance to walk through an old family home and then around the sheds and look at the old machinery and also visit the cemetery where family members were buried.

A combination of excitement and disappointment. Beautifully layed out buildings and displays next to the stunning river. Visually appealing old style buildings and farming equipment. Although not enough markers or plaques to distinguish between the OLD and the made to look old. The shearing shed...More
