Alma Park is divided in two. one side is for events and sporting activities and the other is more like a garden with lots of open parkland. The second park, closet to Chapel Street, has a beautiful pathway that leads through the middle of lush...More

I explored the West and East parts of the park near Dandenong Road. The park is bisected by the railway line to Sandringham and seems to have a different character on each side. The West side has gardens of a European character and pathways (there...More

This is a lovely place to either walk through or sit in and have a picnic. It is a great open space, and not too far from public transport.

Probably more for families, but still interesting for casual walkers and visitors, and the play equipment looks very imaginative. There are bbq facilities, although we didn't use them.

This is a great park particularly if you are a dog owner. Big enough for your dog to have exercise in safety. A very pleasant park to walk around as it has been well maintainedplenty of shade to escape the sun.

Great foodie market held at Alma Park every Saturday 9 -3. Awesome street food vendors.... (try the sliders if they are there.....yummm). A really cool vibe, picnic blankets available for sitting back and chilling out with some yummy food, beer, cider or coffee.
