We have been to St Kilda a few times since being in Melbourne and have loved it every time! it's a very lively, quirky place, with loads of lovely restaurants and bars. On a beautiful sunny day catch the tram to St Kilda Beach and take a walk along the promenade. Enjoy an ice cream or coffee at the Cafe surrounded by the sea. See penguins, and fish swimming around the rocks.

Beach was overall good, nice walking path along the beach which was pretty good too. Pretty much no shaded areas which I thought was an oversight when building the walkway and seating areas, so if you want shade bring your own umbrella
