Lovely place for a walk. Although close to the beach and the bustle of St Kilda, it is quiet, relaxing with lots of shady places to sit. Loved the Rainman fountain! Usual lack of recycling bins though. Melbourne and Victoria in general is really bad...More

The layout of the garden is nice and there is plenty of shade from the sun,. The toilets are disgusting however and the park is obviously frequented by drug users as we found evidence in there.

As far as botanical gardens go this is one of the smaller ones if you are in in the St Kilda Precinct anyway looking at the beach the wharf the bars the restaurants then this is one extra thing to do but I definitely would...More
