This place is a regular for my family. There are no waves so it's perfect for young children or those that prefer calmer water. The sand is clean and white with a small playground nearby as well as BBQ facilities. A great place to go and relax on a hot day.

It's gorgeous. Definitely go sailing here and visit the local bottlenose dolphins. You can pay something like 5 or 10 dollars to join a sail for the evening which is really worth the money. Also the Dolphin Discovery Centre is fantastic and soon to be renovated.

We have been at Koombana Bay, Bunbury for Easter. Our 6th Easter visit in fact. From when we checked in the staff seemed put out as the park was full. It's always full! It was disgusting. Dirty bathrooms that were not cleaned all weekend. The jumping pillow was broken. The jumping castle replacement was not managed fairly so many children... More

No waves....perfect for small children or older people who just want to get their feet wet. Great to sit and watch the dolphins go by. Cafe close. Shaded areas....bbq areas. Very popular.

Several times a year we pack a picnic lunch, with a few chilled Coopers Ultra Light (non-al) beers and head to this great little stretch of foreshore. There's a gas BBQ, picnic tables and clean ablutions nearby... as well as large shade structures on the beach. It's a quiet, relaxing area and we always feel revitalised after our picnic lunch...... Voted the best family beach in Australia. I don't know if I agree 100% with that, but it is a places to enjoy the sand castles, dive in the ocean next to dolphins, no waves and a nice beach in WA without seabreeze.

When we booked our accommodation on-line it was for an economy en-suite self contained chalet for 2 people. On arrival we checked in and once we found our chalet we were confused by the small building next to it that showed the same site number. It turned out that this building was the Toilet/Shower/Washing area that was supposed to be... More

Following on from previous review, I forgot to mention that the park is on a busy road and it can be a bit noisy if you are parked along the fenceline but the traffic quietens down at night and we weren't bothered by it. This one negative is far outweighed by the positives. Have another wine or beer and relax!!!
