This is one of the icons of Geraldton, a large steel lighthouse on the beach , the beach you can drive on and enjoy the sunsets , especially during winter, so nice

Lighthouse is no longer working in any capacity and is fenced off ... you can't even get within 10 metres. Not worth the visit unless going to the beach across the road.

Decided we had to see this lighthouse just because it was there. Information provided was informative and interesting. Just adds to the list of remarkable structures that were built before all our up market technology ( pre computers! ) was considered essential.

Dropped by this place as it was very easy to get to if you drive. The light house was closed but the beach in front was quite nice. We saw some people windsurfing even though the wind was blowing offshore. Think it will be a...More

Took the opportunity to visit on one of the rare occasions that the lighthouse is open to the public to visit. Great bit of history with some stories to picture when it was manned. Shame the interior is empty and you are unable to walk...More

Not open when we went past and fenced off. Would have great ocean views if you can access t9 the top.

Although it is not open to the public, the information in front of it is very comprehensive. There is the history, names of lighthouse keepers and when they worked there, shipwrecks in the area and a wealth of other info. Worth a stop. Parking area...More
