This three-kilometre beach stretches from the caravan park in the north, to Southgates in the south. On a fine, windless (rare) day, its a pleasant beach, where it's surprisingly possible to walk for some time without spotting another beachgoer. Renewing our acquaintance with this once...More

A lovely beach and one of the few that you can see dogs enjoying the ocean and the kids having fun with their pets. Parking close by and has some nice view of the light house in the distance. Take some drinks with you as...More

Another beach in or near Geraldton and full of dogs having a ball running around. The people are friendly too, and it's a pretty big beach area. Looks nice and clean and the waves don't seem too rough.

We took our grandchildren of 5,7 and 9 years in the morning and they all had fun. One body boarded, one jumped the waves and the other built sandcastles. Best free fun around :)

Tarcoola Beach is probably the best beach in Geraldton, it seems to have the fewest amount of local mean drunks trying to fight you for no reason and peeing on everything like another beach that I am not allowed to review for some reason. The...More

A lovely beach for an early morning walk and at the right time of the year the water is clear for swimming and for children to enjoy. The sea with white horses is attractive when the Southerly blows and the Sunsets are stunning to watch...More

Beautiful place to stop and stretch your legs from the road trip. The beach is dog friendly and has areas for on and off the leash. Because Geraldton is usually quite windy the water is choppy. But always fresh. Somedays you will get more seaweed...More

The only reason for such a low rating is the bindi/triple gees/prickles on the grass before you walk to the beach. Not happy Jan! You go down to the beach obviously you leave you shoes in the car & then ouch the grass is covered...More

No, from memory these no overnight camping including in vehicles. There are many caravan parks around Gero but your best bet is to take a drive up to Coranation Beach 30mins north. It was around $5 per site about 5yrs ago... More
