We did the tour with the local historian. He’s a great story teller who makes the old building come to life!

This stunning old building can be visited thanks to the local historical society. The stage curtain alone is a masterpiece. Nellie Melba appeared here, and countless other celebrities of the era.

I visited on a Sunday market day when the Town Hall is open. I enjoyed the free tour including the backstage areas. The Goatcher Curtain is a gem that is well worth seeing.

We did a tour in connection with the Boulder Fair on Sunday. The guide, Robert, was most professional and interesting, and we had the opportunity to visit behind-the-scenes rooms as well as the main public areas. Thoroughly recommend a visit to this Town Hall.

Well worth a visit just to see the curtain. The building itself is very average. The Kalgoorlie Town Hall has much more character.
