- CraigH0901Adelaide, Australia1,243 contributionsQuaint Cellar DoorNestled in the area close by Cowaramup and around many other wineries. This is a quaint cellar door with a restaurant attached that is worth sticking around to have a bite to eat as well. The service at the cellar door was friendly and helpful. They produce some interesting wine varieties and blends. Worth the time to stop and taste a few. You may find a surprise worth buying and taking home. Take a walk around the property and grab some nice photos.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 8 December 2023
- BorneanPerth, Australia1,965 contributionsLike the family-feel in this winery-restaurantWtitten on 2/6/2019: This was my second visit in this half a year. We ordered the Taste Plate and enjoyed the food. It was a long weekend, and fortunately, we booked a table. While waiting for our food, we tasted a few wines. Peter and Jane were very hospitable hosts. As before, I found the wines very good. I liked the Late Harvest Semillon. Woody Nook is a place I would bring my friends to enjoy a wine tasting and meal experience.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 February 2024
- Joanne JMargaret River, Australia91 contributionsConsistently Fab Fare! The first to arrive here yesterday but the place was packed by the time we left. And quite rightly so. This was yet another delicious meal accompanied by lovely wine and served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve had a different dish each time I’ve come since moving down 4 years ago and I’ve not ordered, anything I wouldn’t order again. Whoever I bring is always also very happy with their meals.Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 25 February 2024
- Sarah WPerth, Australia7 contributionsGood all rounder :)Went here for a wine tasting and a lunch last Saturday. Place has lots of character, wines are all yummy. Specifically liked the tempranilio. Lunch was also yummy, had the prawn pasta and steak. Good quality, substantial serves. Well done guys and thank youVisited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 3 May 2024
- bobjanhBrisbane, Australia2,419 contributionsGreat spot for lunchThe winery has a full cafe associated with it and it provides a great spot for lunch: both indoor and outdoor seating areas are available. There is an excellent menu, the food is good and the service great. Plenty of choice for a gluten free diet. We enjoyed a bottle of their rose with our lunch. Recommend.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 May 2024

I wanted to write a note to say we spent a week in MR and visited plenty of winery’s and brewery s for tasting and we both agree that Woody Nook was by far our best experience.
Deb was fantastic with her knowledge of wines and was very friendly and personable.
We went back for a second visit to buy the bubbly (first visit we bought other wines and the nooky delight)
Highly recommend to anyone thinking of stopping in

We spontaneously decided with friends today to have a trip down south and had lunch at Woody Nook. Turned out to be a great idea. Food was delicious, service impeccable and their Limited Release Fume proved to be an outstanding wine. It is family run and the warm welcome we received at the wine tasting made us really feel appreciated. We will certainly be back

Had lunch here on a rainy day and were welcomed with a great smile. The wine tasting was very informative and wines are very well priced. We had lunch here and the food was fantastic, fresh and lots of it.
We have been here several times and have always been impressed and will definitely be going back when we visit Margaret River again.

I cannot believe it was so easy to get in to this restaurant. We have been here many times and it just gets better. To be able to order a taste plate for one, between two older people is great but when the plate is choc full of great tasting meats and various cheeses, bread and sides it is special. We purchased an excellent bottle of Chenin Blanc and had a lazy summer's lunch with a delightful young European lass tending to our needs.
We will definitely be back

Fun wine tasting (we bought chardonnay, dry rose and the new G+T, plus port). We also ate a delicious lunch. I'm allergic to gluten, garlic and onion. The chef spoke to me about my options and delivered a delicious version of the scallop dish.

Lovely little spot, very nice wines, even better customer service.
Lady looking after us was very knowledgeable without being pretentious at all. But what we loved most was the offer to take all the single bottles we'd bought elsewhere, combine them with the bottles we bought at Woody Nook and post them all back across the country for us. Not only meant we bought more than we'd planned, as we were concerned about how to get everything home, but also left us wanting to come back. And this was after offering to just give us an order form to take home with us rather than buy anything on the spot! No pressure, innovative customer service, mean that we'll be recommending to everyone. And the Nooky Delight is sublime

First time, lovely outdoor setting. Just stopped for cake & coffee.
Coffee had bitter/ burnt taste in rather small unremarkable mugs.
The cheese cakes were NOT cheese cakes, but two small scoops of soft cheese cake filling with a sprinkle of cheese cake crumb mixture on top, and a mango passion fruit sauce. All tasty.
Kudo for the creativity, but short on the quantity, especially the crumbs.
Our waitress asked how was it & we told her. We are not sure if this was passed on to the kitchen.

Have dined here numerous times, service always great, food today not so. Large share platter was just bread and few condiments, total waste of $65, so not showcasing our region. Steaks were all really good, pasta awful and desserts def lacking. Realise it was busy but really, the time to show what great place you have.

What is the price of the Sunday lunch special?
Written 2 April 2016
Hello, I know that depending on what is happening the prices may vary? They usually do a winter roast for $20 with all the trimmings ( roasted medley veg, gravy a if lucky, BIG yorkshire puddings!)
They have also got other specials during the week including seniors discount :)
Hope this helps!
