Another beautiful winery in Margaret River. They have some high quality wines - I recommend the cane cut (sweet wine).

We visited there only because the Leeuwin Estate was closed for lunch (see separate review). the free tasting was very informative, albeit the wines were not quite as good as the Leeuwin Estate. The restaurant and outside was pretty busy, but we got a table without booking. The ambience was very nice, lovely barn-like inside restaurant. The service and food... More

My husband and I went for lunch yesterday and took our family including the in laws today. The staff were so accomodating to all adults and children. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The Xanadu board, beef cheek croquettes, quail and semillon were exceptional. Thank you for lovely food and service in a beautiful setting.

Ive visited Xanadu so many times over the last decade and must admit that the place have lost its charm and warmth. From the outside it is pretty and scenic and you feel welcome, but the cellar door just doesn't complement that feeling. The lady who served us was rushed but was helped later, but she was kind and did... More

Visited the winery during the week with three friends and had an amazing experience wine tasting. We were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome from a lady called Fran and offered a tasting of numerous wines. She was extremely helpful and engaged in conversation with all four of us taking an interest in our travels. Her knowledge of... More

To be fair we arrived at 430pm when they indicated on their website that they closed at 5pm. But when we inquired about a tasting the sole employee informed us that on her register it was closing time and all of the tills were closed. Since we just wanted to have a small sampling of some of their wines and... More

Having tried some of Xanadu's beautiful wine and read the reviews on Trip Advisor I just couldn't wait to visit when we came to the region and buy a case or two to share with friends. Oh I was so disappointed, the lady at the cellar door just didn't appear to care. She was moving bottles of wines and filling... More

Xanadu is an amazing winery. Upon entering the facility there were families, couples and groups dining in the restaurant for lunch. It had a a lovely relaxed atmosphere with bean bags and cute seating arrangements on the grassy area and then more tables for us older diners. This is one of only a very few of the Margaret River wineries... More
