Lake Cave is a stunning crystal wonderland and the only cave in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge with a permanent lake. It acts as a mirror of infinite reflections that is truly magical. The cave is renowned for the ‘Suspended Table’ – a five tonne column of calcite that hangs from the ceiling just a few centimetres above the lake. The precinct features impressive retail, interpretative and cafe facilities. Located 25 kilometres south of Margaret River.

Knowledgeable guides, wonderful tour. Despite the size of the cave compared to mammoth cave, we did enjoy the tour with our 3yo at the lake cave. The mini light show was good. I felt that the entrance fees was too expensive.

The Lake cave is a real gem and well worth a see. However, I’ve been to others that are huge and the tour lasts a lot longer than this one. This is not huge, but most certainly enjoyable and worth a view.More
