The Willespie vineyard began it's journey in 1976, when Kevin and Marian Squance and their four children planted 3.9 hectares of verdelho, semillon, riesling and cabernet sauvignon fruit. Forty years and many accolades later, the vineyard has gracefully grown in size along with the four children who have now taken over the reins to this unique piece of land in the Margaret River wine region. Our Wilyabrup property spans over 40 hectares and is a stunning backdrop for a wine tasting at cellar door, dream wedding or special event. Willespie is a boutique, family owned and operated vineyard with a long held passion for creating excellent wines.

My husband is a big fan of Willespie's cab sav and introduced me to the brand; now we make a point to return whenever we are in the area. Off the beaten track, I love the old wooden deck and the highly informative & personalised tastings. While not a fan of reds, I liked their Cab Sav & Merlot. (Still... More

Willespie takes you back to the days of great wine without the huge production effort of the big wineries - a cosy spot, great local art and wine crafted with love. Importantly, they also are happy to move their wine on ... doing great deals by the case if you're doing that new years stocking (as we were). Friendly and... More

Very nice older reds from a rustic family owned winery. Defintiely worth a visit if you're in the area. Apparently they also have crackers and cheeses available to ake onto their balcony that overlooks the vineyard. Nice venue!

Last stop on the winery tour and it was well worth the wait. Tastings where great and the White port was amazing, served with mint, lime and ice!

That's a big call given the quality of the Margaret River region offerings. This winery, family owned for three generations, produces some very fine wines. and they offer very informative, generous tasting sessions. Beautiful garden settings are a bonus indeed.

One of the few original family owned vineyard in the MR region. We enjoy their wines because they usually release wines they have cellared for at least a year or two (sometimes more). Always friendly staff and you can also bring your own food to have a picnic on the lawn whilst enjoying some wines.

This is a little off the main roads and we happen to just come across it without planning. The host was engaging and helpful. The wines were from mature vines and many of superior quality. Worth the visit.

We are glad you found us and enjoyed your visit. We like to think we are one of those hidden gems, but we don't mind if you tell all your friends about us. We love providing our mature, dry grown wines as we feel it complements all of the other wonderful younger wines in the region. We look forward to... More
