A nice gentle trek. Takes about 40 mins (oneway) if your walking at a good pace. Take sunscreen if it’s hot out, although the path is mostly shaded. Terrain is moderate, the views along the way are great and especially when you get to the...More

We started the walk from the Greymouth end. There are lovely views behind you of Mt. Cook in the distance. This is a pretty track through rainforest with dappled shade and the sound of the waves breaking against the cliffs as you walk. From either side...More

Worth spending some time walking this trail by the ocean. Put a hat on and sunscreen protection during summer.

Great walk along the coast, even better in the sunshine. Would be perfect for a run, we ran bits of it as we walked.

Amazing walk to be taken in summer while the weather is good. Outstanding views out to the Tasman Sea, looking up towards the Coast Road. Lovely tramping through the bush, hearing the bird life and on the odd occasion while looking out to sea, spot...More

Lovely spot. Don't be deceived by the flat path at the beginning as you leave the car park, a constant steep incline awaits. After that, the track winds through the forest. We reached the look out in less than an hour. The track was quite...More

Ready walk through lovely bush. Good well maintained track. A few seats along the way to rest and enjoy the views. We only did the walk from the Greymouth end as far as the lookout which took about an hour each way.

Hi Sorry for the slow reply. The sea is visible the entire time although going from the northern end would get you to a slight lookout point easier :)
