There is a lot to see, from nesting seabirds to fur seals to interesting limestone formations. The trail is well-marked. The views are stunning.

This walkway really shows off the natural beauty of Kaikoura and I was lucky enough to see some locals there too (New Zealand Fur Seals) who did not seem bothered by people.

Nice easy walk, beautiful ocean view, takes little under 2 hr to do a beach/ coastal path loop. Kaikoura is still recovering from the earthquake last year, great time to visit before the crowds return.

This is easy and beautiful. Almost no shade, so be careful about hat, sunblock and, water on a sunny day. Good bird watching spots along the way.

Beatiful walk and plenty of seals to see. The walk needs no special prervations. Just drive to the parking spot or walk there from Kaikoura.

After the November 2016 earthquakes Kaikoura jas changed forever The earth has risen bij several meters and from point Kean you can now walk several meters into the oceans and you can actually walk around the peninsula on the old ocean floor. It created new and stunning scenery and hasn't scared the seals away at all

Worth a walk here. Enables you to get over the tricky rocks. Loads of bird life. You will need insect repellant.
