Lovely historical building, the volunteer guide was very knowledgeable about it’s history, previous owners and the items on show. Surrounding gardens well kept. Easy road parking. Well worth visiting.

Thank goodness this home has been preserved and well endowed with period artefacts. It's a good example of early European settlers homes and we had a lovely visit with a charming and knowledgable volunteer guide.

The house shows what life was like in the Victorian and Edwardian eras, so is good historically. The gardens are also beautiful and well worth a visit on their own.

While the lovely little house and it's history are certainly interesting it was the garden we enjoyed most. Very English and with some lovely specimen trees - with the sun shining and the cicadas roaring it made for a very pleasant stop. Only five minutes...More
