We popped in with our 3 year old after spending the good part of the day at Splash Planet. A really great activity center with a ton of animals to see, pet and feed, a really good play ground and an opportunity for horse/pony rides. We were very impressed and thought it much better value for money than Splash Planet.... More

Visited 30th December with my mum and 10 year old. It was the little one's favourite thing on our three days in the Hawkes Bay. There is a bit of a playground area there but we spent long enough going around the animals, and her having a pony ride. A couple of downsides stopping it getting a 5 rating: -... More

This is a great outing for a family as all ages of children would enjoy the animals and petting zoo. There are pony rides and you can buy maize to feed the animals.

We went on the one hour horsetrek with a 12, 10& 8 year old. The older two can ride competently but the 8 year old had never ridden. They all thoroughly enjoyed the trek....friendly staff, wonderful placid horses, fantastic scenery! Very relaxing & would highly recommend. Afterwards we went round the farmyard which was clean, tidy & very well set... More

I took my grandchildren, 16,11,8 out to the petting zoo during the school holidays. What a treat we were in for. Reasonable entry prices and $1 for a punnet of food each to feed the animals. The children have been brought up in the country but it did not dim their pleasure in the diverse range of animals to feed... More

Worth locating this little gem that offers a wonderful hands on experience for children to get up close to farmyard animals. Hand feeding llamas, goats, sheep, deer and fowl allows children to connect with animals. There are also emu and ostrich, ducks and geese, pigs and a steer. The short pony ride costing $5 was a highlight for my toddler.... More

I brought my friend here for her first ride. The girls taking the trek did a great job, and though everyone on the ride differed in ability, it was wonderful! A long trek with lovely safe and responsive horses, and lots to see. The zoo was super cute, lots of sweet farm animals and pets. Loved the kids pony rides,... More
