Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Completed in July 2021, this amazing cable stay bridge now connects the Peljesac peninsular to the Croatian mainland now enabling Croats to stay in Croatia and not have to go through the Neum checkpoint to get from Dubrovnik (and lower) up into the main Croation landmass.
Apart from that, it is a beautiful piece of architecture spanning the sea channel between Komarna on the northern mainland and the peninsula of Pelješac.
It has a total lenght of 2,404 metres but it is still only one lane in either direction which seemed strange as it would be a busy thoroughfare in high tourist times.
There is a good viewing point on the peninsular side for taking photos as well.

Peljesac Bridge is located between Peljesac Peninsula and the mainland to avoid entering Bosnia, if you continue for the main road (it is necessary to cross a little piece of land in Bosnia to arrive Dubrovnik). It was built in the 21th Century, so it very new and it was opened in 2022. Really, it is very nice to see and cross it. If you like engineering works, it is impressive, very recommendable.

The new bridge that connects the coast of Croatia with the Pelješac peninsula. Even more impressive than the bridge are the access roads and the tour around Ston. The journey to Dubrovnik is much easier and without entering and exiting BIH again.

We stopped by on our trip between Dubrovnik and Zadar, the bridge is used to avoid going into another country few Croatia lacks a small piece of coast.
It is quite long and magnificent, you get very good pictures at the rest area and can fit in to rest, eat or go to the toilet at the same time.
