We selected the late afternoon cruise after hearing there was a better chance of spotting a croc and we were not disappointed. We saw 3 crocs, a highlight but the beauty and vastness of the wetlands was breathtaking, our guide was exceptional!

No problem driving early in the morning, we didn't see any wildlife on the roads the whole time we were in the pack

I am sorry sorry but only just saw this question. Hope you got your tickets sorted out. For other people wondering I googled Yellow Water Cruises and booked tickets though the Kakadu Tourism website
