We went here as a part of a 3 day safari in one early morning. The guide was awesome and teached us a lot. We saw many different kind of birds and more crocs than I cared to count. Loved it!

No problem driving early in the morning, we didn't see any wildlife on the roads the whole time we were in the pack

I am sorry sorry but only just saw this question. Hope you got your tickets sorted out. For other people wondering I googled Yellow Water Cruises and booked tickets though the Kakadu Tourism website
