I loved the cruise and all it had to offer. You travel up the first gorge and get off the boat and look at aboriginal art and birds along to the second boat which takes you on Gorge number two. Jason was very witty and...More

The food was pretty decent but just take part in the cruise for the cruise. It was such a beautiful experience and the best way to see the gorge for what it is. We did a couple of walks earlier in the day but the...More

Excellent tour of this iconic and timeless place. Easy online booking and only a short drive from Katherine itself. The scenery speaks for itself but the tour was highlighted by the expert commentary of the indigenous guide who was very knowledgeable and pointed out things...More

Can't complain about anything regarding the tour itself. Simple with beautiful views. I just think it was quite expensive for what it was AUD$94. On a side note, there are currently thousands of flying foxes roosting in the trees near the boat ramp. The smell...More

Many thanks for your review of Nitmiluk Tours. Yes we currently have a large colony of bats living in the trees near thee boat jetty - this area is part of the National Park and the bats are a native species and protected.

It's prearranged on the train or when you purchase your tickets for the Ghan. They drop off the guests who aren't going on tours at the Katherine Information Centre and then carry onto the Gorge for the cruise.
