We got a tuk Tuk from our hotel in ohiya on a 3.5 hour wait for 2000lkr. Takes about 30 mins. The main long drive is from the tickets to the path start. Tickets cost around 7000lkr for two but signing in takes about five...More

It is an just an ok walk which makes the cost even more ridiculous with foreigner cost 600% of cost to locals. It seems more like a UNESCO sponsored fund raiser. We walked the entire trail in 4 hours and saw no wild life except...More

The walk is wonderful and worlds end is breathtaking although the day visited was hazy. The landscape was in some ways similar to going on a bush walk in parts of south eastern Australia with the only concern being the cost of getting to the...More

It's a natural park with landscapes similar to Switzerland. You can do a circular walking route of 9 Km. It is an easy one. In my case I couldn't see many animals, I saw many more just by driving in the roads. What surprised me...More

Honestly, this is too expensive for a 9km walk, on a path with a lot of tourists even in the off season. Still, the walk is nice, and the detour to baker's falls is worth it. 3hours is more than enough.

The admission fee to the park is over 3,000 Sri Lankan rupiah per person. That's $20 per person on top of the cost of transport to the park, which is about 5,000 rupiah. Quite a lot for a few hour walk. That said, the trail...More

If she is relatively fit, I would recommend it. It's a beautiful place. I would recommend a little training before the trip, evening walks etc... to get in shape.
