Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A Fat bike trip from Cumbuco to Jerri, 3 days of great riding on the beaches. Kiko did a great job planning the trip, we had a full support 4x4 also to carry our bags, provide water and snacks etc. We started from Cumbuco, first day is hard with a lot of soft sand. The second day (80 kms) was beautiful, low tide, hard sand, stopped for a great paella! The third day was not too tough and then we were in Jeri, 225 km. I would recommend it for any bikers. Kiko is also offering a bike and kitesurfing combination where you can alternate days between biking and kiting. The bikes were Specialized, good equipment, we had 0 issues with the bikes ( even with all the sand and salt and water). We would definitely do a long trip with Kiko again.

We did two routes, beginner and intermediate. Both offer great views and contact with nature. The guide is punctual and organizes everything necessary (clothes, helmet and bike), as well as advising how to drive the bike on the sand and take wonderful photos. For those who enjoy cycling and nature, it’s worth the investment.

I sneaked into the ship... I entered through the pipe! I left the central plateau in search of a cycle tourism experience and found myself on a tour that didn't focus much on sport. On a journey calculated to last 4 days, between pedal, boats, cars and accommodation, the expectations were defined departure times, places already organized waiting for us, boats with minimum security, explanations about routes and accommodation (quality, prices, etc. ), but that was not what I received. I found exactly the opposite. EVERY day we left at 9:30 in the morning to cycle in the SOL of the northeastern hinterland. One day we left at 10:30am. The facilities aren't even worth mentioning... of poor quality and no commitment to the reservation.. On the second night, after cycling 50kms on the sand, I thought I would sleep on the street.. We arrived at the inn and waited on the ground for more than 1 hour and a half , the confirmation of a supposed reservation during carnival (Brisa do Mar Inn - Macapá/PI) for a trip with values above 6,000.00 (six thousand reais), this is at least unacceptable... and I still had to hear the Things are really expensive... And the company is summed up in the guide itself. He is the one who DOES EVERYTHING (except the support with the band bags and gatorates which were at the discretion of the hired driver), from talking to fishermen to renting boats 'right there' in real time, checking accommodations on the phone between the crossing, including the bike maintenance...think...if you ride a bent bike for 20kms it's already bad...imagine 200kms...When you got a flat tire the recommendation was to be careful because there's only one spare camera, for 06 bikes...there's a patch kit. .' On top of that, a contract that details NOTHING of what will happen and sells services that do not correspond to the delivery of '05 days of rental of Elite Fatbikes, when we ride for 03 days with Sport Fatbikes', in a journey of 04 days. In the end I was wondering, is this the characteristic BALANCE of a CYCLING TOUR that combines sport and nature? And the answer was CERTAINLY NO!!! I just need to hire the COMPANY that is committed to transparency, responsibility and quality. Finally, once the frustrations are taken away, THE BEAUTIES of the places visited remain unparalleled.

I highly recommend the tour. The guide Kiko is extremely attentive and knows the place and history very well. You will have a very different view from car trips, as you will pass through places that you can only go by bike or on foot. You will climb one of the dunes by bike, which for me was an indescribable experience. You will see an amazing sunrise, as well as the experience of riding a Fat Bike. Good fun and good pedaling.
