Holambra is well know as flower polo production in Brazil. The place provides flowers and plants to most cities in Brazil and even if not some countries in South America. It is indeed a small town with Dutch immigrants. You feel an European air. Make...More

Fake wind mill in fake Holland. I do not understand why Brazilians take me here all the time. Was here more than 10 times, more or less kidnapped by Brazilians. I suppose they wanted to be kind to me. But this, the windmill and the...More

I just walked around this windmill at the end of a day at the Expoflora. It is quite a nice exemplar, and very high. With the lighting in the evening it looks pretty good. I bet it is better to see from the inside still,...More

This Moinho is a nice copy of a Dutch one. You can visit it inside. Tour guide are organized from local people and inside you can rest watching some videos explaining its history.

That's all. If you wanna know how it is inside that's something you'd like to do. Take a look in the stores nearby, there are great things in there

It was Sunday, first week of December and extremely hot weather. Not the best time for a visit in Holambra unfortunately.

we had a good time talking to an old-timer here. He took time to explain so much about the immigration and culture, along with the functions of the windmill. He was a kind gentleman. I wish I could include his name, but I don't remember...More

Interesting and nice place to see. There were couple local folks explaining the origin and how the Moinho was built. Really nice.

The parking spots are really convenient. It is nice for pictures, not much than that. It is a regular touristic mill. Thats pretty much it.

This is a new attraction that caters for the tourists - if you visit a Dutch town in Brazil wouldn't you expect to see a windmill? Children will probably love it. It is a great photo opportunity, you may enter the windmill, climb the stairs...More
