Although this lake trail was easy, we skipped the loop track and returned to our car after a 40 minutes easy walk. Maybe there are better places to explore in the nearby area.

Well worth doing if looking for some exercise - loop track a plus, great views around the lake and accessible for littlies as long as they can walk a bit. Do the walk and then dip in the lake - perfect on hot day.

We always do this walk when we are in Queenstown/Arrowtown. It is approx a 2 hour walk around the lake so make sure you have the time and fitness to do this. The views from every turn are incredible even on a cloudy day.

We went in Autumn, the sun was out and the area was bathed in the most beautiful colors. It's an easy walk, but you need good, sturdy walking shoes. Don't forget your camera!@
