This is a new walking track for medium to fit walkers. It takes you through native forests, similar to the Routeburn track. There is a stream running throughout and it's beautiful. It is still in the making but the track well formed as far as it goes. Takes about 1-2 hours return. One of the best around and easy access.

Took a walk down the Queenstown trail following the river. We walked past one bridge and crossed the other to loop back into town. Nice leisurely trail which wasn't too difficult to traverse. The bridge crossing was quite nice on either end. It took about...More

Not a very long walk but very pleasant and not far from the town. I had excellent weather and loved this short walk beside the creek under the trees. I think these are not native trees, most seem to be european.

My family and I visited arrow town and casually walked a portion of this trail, absolutely beautiful day with breeze blowing through the trees and the sun shining. I'm always blown away at how clear and beautiful streams and rivers are in New Zealand. This...More

I walked along part of the Bush Creek Trail as part of a loop with the Sawpit Gully Track. The Bush Creek portion was easily walkable without hiking gear and would be a peaceful, shady walk suitable for families.

Love this walk, esp in summer as your in the shade, walking through forest for the majority of it. It's a good walk, steep in places but beautiful, esp when you reach the top and look out over the Wakatip basin. My grandchildren have walked...More
