Parked in the free car park at Codnor market place, followed the signposted footpath about 1.5 miles to this lovely Castle. Great free tour helped see thing we otherwise would have missed. Popped in the old cottage for tea, coffee and some wonderful homemade flapjack....More

Walked the dog around the castle recently and it must be said the heritage trust along with their friends have really made this place a pleasure to visit. The fields were looked after and upkeep is great. Well worth a visit on a nice day.

Visited here for a family get together, had Sunday lunch was excellent plenty of good choices of 4 meats , veg was all fresh and plenty of it would recommended a visit , good value for money .
