Newer road through the mountains with gorgous views. Our driver said it is the most expensive toll road in the country.

We happened to have flown into Santo Domingo Airport and had the opportunity to drive on this road to our resort. The road is winding but you have magnificent views of the area!

The road from the airport to the hotel strip around las terrenas is well maintained (although a little sketchy) and even guarded by a “road police” named MOPC. But be ready to pay a total of 700$ DOP (!!)from Santo Domingo to las terrenas, ouch....More

Pretty expensive - $13 each way in a car, the motorcycles are free. the views are very nice and it has cave that you can stop by to look at. very little traffic and a quick way to get to Las Terrenas

This was a very pleasant drive from the coast Las Terrenas. To the airport . The road slowly climbs up the mountain until a plateau at the top section with wonderful views to the coast which stretch’s for miles . Take this. Route if possible...More

Taking this road is worthy. The landscaping is amazing once You start To go up the mountain. Careful driving is advisable. 552 pesos ( ca. 11usd) is what you pay to use this road to reach Terrenas.

Hey there...depend were you come from..Punta Cana to Las Terrenas around 1300 peso around $28 US one way...from Sanchez to Las Terrenas/which is around 23km you pay 525 peso ...around 13 US which is the most expensive part... More
