Hi Kathy, There is not a bus which goes all the way to Muriwai. There is public transport to Waimauku which is about 10kilometers away. We can sometimes do a pick up from there and a drop off at a cost of $20. This depends on what day of the week it is. We don't usually do pick ups at the weekends. There is a new company who has just started who is doing tours and bookings with us. You could try them, his name is Dave. They won't let me put his email on Trip Advisor so you would need to email me for his details. My email is on my site. I am not sure how often they are planning to do tours to Muriwai but if you email him and tell him Aboutriding gave you his contact details he may have something coming out around the time you are here if you let him know some dates.
