Booked this park many months in advance just to arrive and find that they had our two camps in completely different parts of the camp. Not good for co kitchening and cooking. Some park staff were just down right rude. Totally disorganized front office and...More

Lovely anywhere along the Ord River. A massive amount of water especially for the irrigation of the numerous crops grown in the Ord Irrigation Area.

A second visit and just as enjoyable as the first. Sealed road from highway and a very pleasant and shady picnic area at the dam wall.

The Ord river and lake Argyle are a significant water body developed for irrigation. The area has a very interesting history and great fun to visit.

An amazing spot. We camped at van park. The pool is great and the meals were very good. Fuel was expensive, but they do advise to just get enough to get back into town.

Didn't do a tour, just drove around ourselves and saw some beautiful sights. If you cross the dam there is a gorgeous day area on the other side. Lovely big shade trees to sit under and enjoy a picnic.
