We stayed at the Star Gazer camp for the same price as the homestead. I would recommend staying at the Millstream Homestead park. Lots of shade especially on warm days. Only a couple of kms further down the road. $22 a night for 2 adults....More

A great little place we visited on the way to Karijini. Awesome for a dip in the warmer months...some brave souls were still swimming in July but the water was pretty chilly! Nice spot for a picnic and fabulous views along the winding road with...More

Less than a 2 hour drive inland from Karratha is this ruggeredly beautiful national park. The colours are amazing from the red dirt and termite mounds, to the yellow spinifex and blue skies. You could do a day trip here or spend a few days...More

Free BBQ's by the river. Easy access for swimming, although a bit far to carry the canoe. Toilets available. Camping nearby. Great access from Karratha, bit of dirt but all good. Lost of Sturt desert pea flowers everywhere, just lovely.

A great day out! Take your bathers for a dip in the plunge pool, your camera for the wild flowers and stunning scenery along the road. Roads good. Sealed most of the way and gravel roads well maintained.

Having been touring national parks in Western Australia Millstream-Chichester was a big let down. The 40km road from the entrance to the campsites and attractions is heavily corrugated. The $10 camping fee per person/per night is higher than many other national parks that are not...More

Very easy drive from Karratha - all on sealed road. Very nice walk above the pool. Can get very busy over the weekends and holidays.
