Beach was fantastic. Water has stingers this time of year so we didn't frequent it much. Loved walking the lovely clean beach finding shells and stones with my kids.

This is such a beautiful beach, lovely fine, white sand, tall palm trees waving in the soft breeze, beautiful warm waters. Just make sure you swim within the nets. The nets keep out crocodiles, stingers and any other unsavoury sea creatures. On one side is the beach with a shaded grassed area and a meandering path amongst the palm trees,... More

Such a lovely beach and so clean, the local people take such great care of the area and the pride shows through. There is a netted area in stinger season to allow for swimming with out the sting and a very long jetty at the end that is a popular place to go fishing from or to soak up the... More

Superb beach just a few metres from cafe's & bars. It doesn't have too many of these so that it becomes over commercialised but, unlike some beaches in the are, there's choices somewhere within walking distance. It's a really good balance.

Absolutely stunning location - perfect for walks and idyllic photos from any angle. Heaps of bbqs, water fountains and toilet blocks. PC offers a vast array of cafes and restaurants. On Sundays the surf club pub has a ukulele gathering which is very entertaining and they also off some good fare. I can't believe people complain about the dangers of... More

Stunning for morning walks. Calm water & many palm trees. Stunning natural beauty with views to 2 islands off shore. I'm arriving in Palm Cove very soon to enjoy a relaxing fortnight poolside with morning beachwalks, followed by retail therapy & brunches at some fine cafes. I prefer this time of year when crowds are less. Summertime in the Tropics... More

We thoroughly enjoyed are trip to Palm Cove. The Esplanade is very pretty with palms and beautiful gardens lining the edge. A beautifully quiet area and only a short transfer from Cairns. There are many great activities and attractions in the area so you can keep busy or just relax by the pool. A great range of restaurants also.
