Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've been to Endota in Airlie on countless occasions, each time was amazing and always got me coming back for more.
I preferred the spa experiences at Pinnacles Resort better than at Peppers Resort, because you felt more open and free with a beautiful view of the Whitsundays and beautiful entrance. The spa at Peppers gives a claustrophobic feel as there were no windows (that I saw or recall) except for the entrance.
Service-wise excellent quality, I loved the 2 & 3 hour treatments, especially the yoghurt wrap as you feel so moisturised afterwards. They listen to your pressure preferences and other needs you have.
Only downside is the prices are rather high, which has now turned me off in returning unless on a special occasion. I'd be back in a heart beat though if they reviewed their prices! 😊😍

I was treated by a very experienced lady and she made me feel so comfortable, I wished I had of booked in at the start and the finish of my holiday I would rather have a massage, foot spa and a facial than go shopping these days so just do it!,,

Had an hour massage and an hour facial. This was one of the best spa experiences I have had and a perfect way to spend 2 hrs. The ladies were wonderful. Definitely going to do it again.

This is the only time I have ever placed a terrible review on trip advisor - yeh sure things don't always go to plan when traveling so I give and take a little - but honestly the experience i had at this place warrants a terrible rating. First of all it was impossible to make contact with them to place a booking - no one returned phone calls. I ended up walking there (up the big steep hill) and left a note - still no reply. I went back and waited (there was no recepetion - the door is closed when they are in treatments or was the days I was trying to make a booking) I should have taken this as a warning sign. Anyway the computer system was down and then they couldn't conform booking.... blah blah blah. You get my drift ... administratively a nightmare.... the girl was nice and apologised. I got the feeling the "manager' was trying to run this place whilst overseas. (if you are the manager reading this post... please take this post in good faith that it isn't working... it is so poorly organised). My actual facial was the worst facial I have ever had (I regularly have facials). It was like torture... the girls energy, tone of voice and presence exuded that didn't want to be there. I tried to zone out. She also did not listen when I mentioned her touch was so light (it tickles) please be firmer. It was like chinese tickle torture... OMG i had to laugh in the end... that was until I paid the bill and the markup price. I am sorry but I don't have a nice thing to say about this place. Even the actual spa ambiance is nothing special. A friend lives in Airlie Beach and was the person who recommended me to this place. She herself went a week after me and rang to apologize for suggesting it to me...."it used to be fabulous, but it is awful now" quote from her. I could never recommend this place and feel robbed of my money and time by having gone.

Booked a deluxe pedicure. From the moment I stepped in the staff member behind the counter was not friendly, not smiling and seemed not happy to be there. To my dismay she did my pedicure. Initially it was nice and relaxing until she had to file my toenails. She ended up filing my skin as well. It was painful!!! I had to endure my skin stinging for the rest of my holidays especially when I was swimming or taking a shower. Would not recommend.

I haven't tried the spa. When I arrived at Peppers on Friday afternoon i thought I would book in. They were supposedly open from 4pm to 7pm only during off season that day. I rang at 4pm and it rang out and went to voicemail - i asked for a call back to my room and none came.
I went down to the spa in person at 5pm and the doors were locked and there was a small whiteboard outside asking to leave a message but the whole place was locked up.
If they weren't working that day then reception didn't know and their voicemail didn't indicate opening times.
So, if you are wanting a spa treatment and not getting one would ruin your trip then I suggest you book well in advance of you turning up to ensure you get a spot.

I booked in for an afternoon of relaxation and the girls were very accommodating. I didn't have any problems with returning calls etc unlike some other reviewers have mentioned. I left an email, and had a reply the next business day. I had a honey scrub, yoghurt wrap, massage and deluxe pedi. I was really relaxed during the treatment, (the yoghurt cocoon was sensational) that I fell asleep (maybe a bit of snoring too haha)! On the downside, you could hear other clients coming in and out of reception which can be a bit distracting when you're tuning out. The upselling at end is a bit tacky. I thought the deluxe pedi was a tad overpriced for what it was, but all in all, a really lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Just had the best body scrub and facial by Linda at Endota spa in Airlie Beach. She made me feel welcome and relaxed as soon as I walked in the door. Very good at her job and my skin feels amazing. Thanks Linda will be back to see you soon!

Left this review a little late. Visited while my partner and I spent a week at Pinnacles in early Dec. We decided to book in for a couples massage and booking in was no trouble.

Arrived on time and filled out the usual form re health. Was taken into a room where my partner and I could recieve our massages across from each other. Im not sure what words I can use to describe my expirence.... blissful.... very relaxing perhaps. Either way, the two ladies who gave us our massages (apologies for forgetting your names) did a fantastic job, to the point where my partner (who is a littlle nervy with massages) fell asleep!

Its hard to get good massages in a place where you havnt been before - so thank you, you both exceeded our expectations and then some. Worth every cent! will definitley recommend to family and friends visiting Airlie Beach.
