Having driven through the Blue Mountains often we took a weekend to stop and see the sights. We were blown away by the view, it is simply stunning to behold. Great facilities and absolutely well worth the trip be it as a tour, a destination or a short diversion from the highway.

Beautiful view, and impressive rocks. It is interesting to know the legend. A lot of people though. Try to enjoy it anyway.

The fog burnt away and the enormity of a truly magnificent vista was laid out for all to see. Great views from all angles, great walks through amazingly diverse forests, and from the bottom almost 1000 steps before we could walk on the flat back to our car. It took us four hours but we did the Three Sisters, Prince... More

When we got to the area you could not see anything due to the clouds. I was disappointed but decided to have some food 30 mins later and the clouds had cleared and they were there spectacular sight GO SEE

The Three Sisters are beautiful rock formations in the Blue Mountains. We took a 2 hour train ride from Sydney to get to the town of Katoomba. To get to the Sisters, you can walk about 2 miles through this town, or catch a local bus from the train station. We walked and browsed by the cute stores along the... More

A bit hazy on the day we went, but still stunningly beautiful. Only spoilt by the scummy race, who were happy to throw litter over the railings, while too busy taking selfies of themselves and the following "sheep" that were with them!!! They didn't like being told to pick it up either!!! If you are there make sure to go... More

The best view of the colours in the rock formations of the Three Sisters is at sunset at Echo Point Lookout. There's two large viewing platforms so everyone can get a good look. Parking is limited so be prepared to park in a nearby street or walk if you can.

If visiting NSW it would be sad not to visit the "Three Sisters" in the "Blue Mountains" - so named because they give off a blue haze (from the eucalyptus tree covered mountains). Of course these mountains aren't like the alps of New Zealand and Europe - as far as height goes - however the whole area is remarkably beautiful... More

We hired a private drive who was an actor with historical experience for a day in the Blue Mountains. On the drive from Sydney, he regaled us with wonderful stories of the different suburbs we drove through and the on-going road construction. When we arrived we took the skyrail and loved the ride and all that we saw. Prior to... More
