It's the walk to get there that makes it all worthwhile. We saw some wildlife, some great views and when we got here there was a different form of wildlife - a group abseiling. It looked great fun.

We walked down the steps to get there - lots of them! Several viewing points on the way down, and you can get close to the falls and almost directly under them at one point - they are pretty and moderately dramatic, but not a...More

We walked down to a lower lookout and had a great view of the falls. Advise you to get here early if possible in peak times. It's crazy busy and hard to find a park.

There are plenty of waterfalls in the Blue Mountains but for some reason I like this one and the Bridal falls, in winter it can get cold in the shadows on the way down, the path is often a bit muddy so sandels wont cut...More

This most Beautiful Waterfall is as Charles Darwin saw in 1836 on his voyage around the world. Several walking tracks from easy to challenging depart from the lookouts above the 180 metre falls,

This is the first time I have explored bushwalks outside of Katoomba or Leura. We did the Darwin walk to Wentworth Falls and it was amazing. It was quite busy, especially down at the Falls, and the walkway is very narrow. I would like to...More

Visited Wentworth Falls yesterday and although it seemed very busy when we turned up (about 11.30am) we soon found a car parking space. There are various walks although some of the longer treks (National Pass) are closed due to a major rock fall. We headed...More

We visited in the evening and spent 1-2 hours wandering around the walk paths. Amazing views, waterfalls, and stunning with the sunset reflecting on the rocks. Would have had a swim in the bottom of the falls if we'd had bathers!

Public transport won’t get you to Jenolan Caves. It’s about an hour to an hour and a half drive, so not really close to the main part of the Blue Mountains. All bush walks are free, so no passes needed.
