Located at the top of a hill of the caravan park, the gaol provides a lovely view of the entire area, plus some information for history buffs. If you have enough time in the park, a 30-minute visit is all you need here.

We took our family - teens and younger child - and all found it interesting. $30 entrance fee for family was ok price, but wouldn’t want to be more $. We took lots of photos. Lots of information to read and learn about previous generations....More

This is worth a visit. My 4 year old enjoyed it! Went as a large group 6 adults and 2 kids w everyone was happy to visit. Not expensive either. Watch tower is a highlight

Never a silly question! I didn't see any pets and suspect it's National park or state reserve surrounding the gaol so definitely would need to check.
