This beautiful stretch of beach, just a 15 minute drive from Cairns City, is one of the most beautiful beaches and an easy drive for travellers with not much time. The beach offers great views out to islands and even has grass to sit on,...More

I'm been in Cairns for a few days. Not enough time to see all the beaches the city can offers. I'm glad I picked Trinity beach cause it's absolutely stunning, it's pure nature without touristic shops. I was surprised cause no many people were around....More

This long sandy beach is perfect for a walk and the warm tropical waters are great for a swim. Stick to the lifeguard patrolled areas (between the flags) to swim, and make sure to avoid "stingers" (jelly fish) season as they can pack a really...More

One of the best beaches out of Cairns. Very child friendly, great resorts, plenty of restaurants to choose from. Awesome beach. Nice little shopping centre and close to Smithfield as a shopping mall. What else do you need?

This is a great little beach with enough sand space for people to sun bathe, kids to make sand castles... I saw dogs being walked on the beach and lots of people just enjoying the sun and cooling down in the water.

As the others said, no problem if you follow the warnings and obey the signs. I understand that normally the crocs would only be found in the creek way down the beach form the supervised area anyway.
