We spent an enjoyable hour walking around the grounds and reading the various posts about the former glory of this house in its heyday. Once a thriving community with school, church and dwellings for the many staff needed to run a large property. The house...More

It is a spectacular farm homestead - magnificently restored with a nice cafe and tit-bits to buy. It is really worthwhile to visit if you wish to see how the pioneers made a living

Morning Tea was lovely at the Heritage Centre, run by charming volunteers. The Homestead has been lovingly part-restored and it's a credit to those that work to keep it alive. $10 adult entry fee or $25 family.

This is a real Queensland gem and many people are to be acknowledged and admired for the work that they have put into the restoration of the site. It's an interesting part of our history
