We was down Kingston for my partners triathlon and we thought we would have a look inside. It’s a long climb up but the views and the history is amazing.

In Kingston SE, this was the most interesting part of our trip to this town as we drove along the waterfront. The lighthouse was moved from its original position on a reef off cape Jaffa in recent years. Not open at our time of visit

At the end of a fairly long drive off the main road is the hamlet of Jaffa. The day we were there it smelt so bad we had to leave.

All lighthouses have an appeal, even if they have been removed from service, and moved onshore like this one. Unfortunately it wasn't open when I visited, but will be back soon as it looks like a beauty to climb.
