Really lovely regional art gallery - enjoyed a lot of the art work on display - our only qualm was that for a small town, the 'local' element was somewhat missing. Beautiful views across the lake and the food from the cafe was rather nice,...More

There is a long ramp for disabled users. People in manual wheelchairs may need assistance. Cafe serves a variety of food and the gallery has 3 rooms with varying exhibits.

How could you not love Benalla's special gallery by the lake? In addition to its permanent Australian collection, its popular cultural exhibitions make it easy to love! We saw the last days of Tom Gerrard's 'Dead set legends' (Think mullets!) and Callum Preston's 'Milk bar-...More

Three exhibition areas, rather small. Mix of art styles. Very popular and busy café, though we did not eat there. Nicely located in the midst of Benalla's most popular attractions. Good with school holiday activities.

This is an impressive Gallery which had a good range of exhibitions while we were there. My favorite was the exhibition inspired by the legends of the female werewolf. There was activities for children, a cafe and shop. Everything for a few hours of cultural...More

Art gallery very small covering two galleries. Very modern in one room which is an aquired taste (notmine.!) Other gallery more traditional and enjoyable. The cafe was extremely busy with locals.

There is a mixture of styles in this small gallery. Some not to my taste but presented in a variety of good sized rooms. The cafe attached to the gallery is excellent and the variety and standard of food is very good. It is also...More
