Not just information but a shop and exhibition on the building of the Great Ocean Road. I had searched high and low for an Australian made koala toy for my granddaughter and they had one.

The place to visit to see all the history of the building of The Great Ocean Road with great photos from the 1920's & 1930's.They also have information pamphlets on all the local bushwalks & tourism in the area.

And advice. Pretty much what you want in an information centre. The lady who was there the day we went knew everything there was to know about the area including road closures and all the places to eat

We stopped at the Information Centre to grab maps and some advice on what to see while in Lorne. We found the Centre had a large range of relevant material and the staff were very friendly and helpful with advice.

Hi Matt, the Lorne visitor centre is open daily 9-5 so that won't be a problem. Beach walks, the Otways and Erskine Falls are all good for 2-3 hours of hiking, coffee shops aplenty so you should have a great stay. Hope this... More
