They did have a free bus tour, not sure if that in still running. But if it is go and have a look. These things are massive and you get to see them up close. only a shore 15 minute f=drive from port fairy.

Go and see and wonder at the size of these things. Not sure if I would want them in my backyard. Is it worth the deviation off the A1 road to or from Portland....only if you are bored.

This is easily visible from the road but you cannot get specifically close to the turbines and there is little data available.

It's just a wind farm, nothing special. You can't go amongst the windmills, you can only look from a viewing area by the road.

The viewing platform is too far away to take any decent photos. I love wind farms - majestic and and clean energy. Should be more of them.

There is plenty of wind in this area of Victoria, why not using it to produce power? A visit to the wind farm is worth the short trip from Port Fairy.
