This church was consecrated in 1848. It is quite small with a beautiful stained glass window. There is an organ which was purchased in 1891 from London England. Although small this church would have been more than adequate for the population at that time.

I was lucky. The doors of the Church of Saint John the Evangelist were wide open. I entered and saw three stained-glass windows. They were beautiful. Behind the altar there was also a stained-glass window.
The benches and the ceiling were dark brown.
