The lake is so close to the town and provides a quick get away from the town, as we went with a toddler it was pretty feasible to go out for an afternoon walk and the toddler saw some birds.

An unusual lake being freshwater & being immediately behind the sand dunes of Middleton Beach There is a track around it's perimeter but parts are becoming run down & could do with some TLC Great spot for bird watchers
