You don't have to walk the entire 16km. You can walk eg just to the isthmus, which makes about 4 km return, with a fair bit uphill. But you soon see the extraordinary seascapes on both sides, well before approaching the isthmus. Worth the effort....More

We enjoyed this walk on a lovely sunny day. The scenery is spectacular with views both side along the trail. There are a few hilly spots but nothing too hard for regular walkers. We were lucky enough to spot whales from the end of the...More

Awesome way to walk out into the open sea. A bit like a really long natural jetty. You follow a board walk initially before reaching isthmus hill which is literally what it is. At this point you get a view of Salmon Hole. From here...More

My husband and I got told about the walk out along Bald Head as we climbed down from Toolbrunup in the Stirling Range. The walk sounded amazing so the next day we did it. It is a Grade 4 hike and information varies on the...More

I did this walk with our children in the age group 12 - 16. The trail is only challenging in places but overall quite good to do. The ‘hardest’ parts are probably the sandy bits, but that is only in the beginning and a bit...More

Hard but nonetheless really amazing walk. Things to remember: - 2-3 litres of water per person - Bring some snacks and trail mix - Wear hiking pants as there’s a lot of walking in thick brush - We recorded the walk on Endomondo, it’s 12.94km...More

Great day trip, challenging walk but well worth the view. Took us four hours at a reasonable pace. Bring a couple of litres of water, we all drank over a litre on a warmish day. Track is easy to follow and there is a car-park...More

The vistas you will see on the walk are absolutely breathtaking. White sandy beaches, and turquoise water that has to be seen to be believed. The trail itself should only be attempted by those with a moderate fitness level. It’s quite steep and hilly in...More

No an easy walk, but so rewarding. The wooden path can be awkward, and climbing the sand dune bit pretty hard work, but the walk is so interesting/varied with ups and downs, under canopies and out in the open, with stunning views both sides. The...More
