This is on most pilgrims list of places to visit while in Najaf. It is said to be the house of the first Imam. You get a sense of history but the house has been worked on to preserve it so not sure how reflective...More

This house was originally made of clay and husk as the old houses are used to be made than in 2000 a person renovate it on the old map to save this heritage. One can see how simple life style was of Imam of such...More

A nice way to discover the life style of a muslim ruler in comparison to today's arab rulers. Very modest and small rooms, nevertheless the people who lived in it affected the lives of millions.

I remember going there and drinking from a well and the water water was so cold. although they claim there are things of ali (radiAllaahu 'anhu), but in reality Allaah knows how much is correct of this!

Near to the great mosque of kufa sit Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib house representing the beliefs of a great leader that people are equal .The house consist of almost two rooms & water well & was renewed in the past 10 years.
