Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This monastery is not far from Moscow. It takes about half an hour by bus 470 from metro station Kuz'minki. The monastery was founded in 1380 but most of it's churches were destroyed or devastated during the Soviet era. They were rebuild or repaired after 1991. The oldest survived church is the Virgin Assumption Cathedral. It's a nice place where you can see undestroyed painting of XVII century and many relics. The church of Transfiguration of Christ got a part of of the Relics of St. Nicholas from Greece. And many people go to to the monastery to touch them.
There is a very common cafe called "trapeznaya" where you can eat very cheap but good dishes in monastery. You can also buy bread and sweets maid in monastery and also feed ducks and swans floating in the beatiful lake even in winter. And also pigeons which number in monastery is comparable with Birds by Alfred Hitchcock))
But in common it's a very beatiful place were you can have a nice time and to know about Russian history.
